Chart-topping sensation Jess Glynne is embarking on a tour of outdoor venues this summer, and you can see her perfom live at Scarborough Open Air Theatre with National Holidays.
The London-born singer has enjoyed a rapid ascent to stardom over the past few years, and has struck a chord with music fans thanks to her stunning vocals and poignant lyrics, not forgetting her striking red hair.
Glynne’s music manages to seamlessly transcend pop, soul and R&B genre to create a remarkable distinctive sound which shows off her strong vocal talent at its best.
Despite being in the early stages of her career, Glynne has already enjoyed incredible success and has been responsible for the best up-tempo pop songs in the past few years.
During this time she has scored no fewer than five Number 1 singles and eight UK Top Ten smash hits, becoming only the second ever British female solo artist, alongside Cheryl Cole, to score five Number One singles in the UK.
Her rise to prominence came when she provided the guest vocals on Clean Bandit’s single ‘Rather Be’, which topped the charts for four weeks. This was followed by another Number One just weeks later when she starred on Route 94’s hit, My Love.
More success was to follow when she collaborated with Clean Bandit once again on their hit single Real Love, which peaked at Number Two in the charts.
The singer released her debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, in 2015 and landed the top spot in the UK.
A whirlwind 18 month period was capped off when Glynne notched her first solo Number One single in 2015 with ‘Hold My Hand’, before following it up with her fourth chart topper alongside Tinie Tempah on ‘Not Letting Go’ and fifth with ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’.
Expect a real party atmosphere and get ready to sing and dance along at what promises to be one of the hottest gigs of the year.
