Over one July weekend over 150,000 people flock to RAF Fairford to witness some of the world’s most cutting edge aircraft technology command the skies above.
So prestigious is the Tattoo that it attracts the world’s elite, who travel to these shores solely to delight the crowds at the event. Every year the line-up gets bigger and better with many international aircraft debuted for the first time in the UK.
During the 7 ½ hour show you will enjoy stunning flying displays from a range of supersonic jets, helicopters, vintage aircraft, aerobatic display teams and giant transporter planes from all over the world.
In the past, there have been flying displays from the Spanish Air Force, Swiss Air Force, Greek Air Force and the US Air Force, each promising impressive stunts and manoeuvres for you to witness first hand.
It’s also a great opportunity to see the iconic Red Arrows display their full sequence of formation displays and perfectly choreographed routines as well as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Eurofighter Typhoon.
On the ground there’s plenty of entertainment too, including hi-tech marvels in the Techno Zone, fast rides and activities in the Adrenalin Zone, plus the Vintage Village where you will find loads of stalls and activities.
