Thomasland & Drayton Manor Theme Park.
You’ll be left soaked after a trip on Stormforce 10, which sees you drop backwards into water and is widely regarded as the best water ride in the country, whilst Pandemonium and Maelstrom will leave your head disorientated.
G-Force is equally electrifying, leaving you hanging by the hip whilst reaching incredible speeds and stomach churning 4.3Gs.
There are also plenty of more family orientated rides too. Join Ben 10 on the Ultimate Mission ride, enjoy a spin on the Drunken Barrels and test your nerve in the haunted house, The Haunting, a favourite with families which has been upgraded with new terrifying special effects and storyline.
The park is also home to a 4D Cinema, which will leave you jumping out of your seat, and a 15 acre zoo where you can get up close to some of your favourite animals including meerkats, tigers, monkeys, chimpanzees and leopards. Discover the Tamarin Trail, an enthralling garden walkthrough attraction that allows visitors to get up close with cheeky moustached marmosets and tamarins.
Drayton Manor is also home to Thomas Land, a theme park set in 6,000 square metres that’s dedicated to everybody’s favourite little blue engine. Toddlers will love climbing aboard the 26 themed rides and attractions, plus indoor play area and shop selling all sorts of Thomas & Friends™ goodies.
The park enjoyed a £2.5million extension in 2015 with new rides including Captain’s Sea Adventure, Flynn’s Fire Rescue and Toby’s Tram Express and the introduction of Sodor Airport, a new terminal style complex which provides unrivalled views of the park.
With plenty to keep all ages entertained, Drayton Manor will create memories to last a lifetime.
