Cosford Air Show is the centrepiece of the UK aviation calendar, attracting over 55,000 people.
Perfect for all ages, the show offers non-stop entertainment both in the air and on the ground with hundreds of static displays, exhibits, stands, military demonstrations and things to do for the kids.
The highlight is of course the flying displays which provide a unique opportunity to see the world’s greatest military aircraft and aerobatic displays teams, show off their speed and agility through a series of mesmerising manoeuvres, elegant formations and death-defying stunts.
Star attractions during the six-hour exhilarating show include headliners the Red Arrows, plus the Eurofighter Typhoon, RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team and the spectacular Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Throughout the showground, visitors will be also be able to explore static aircraft, including Griffin & Squirrel helicopters.
As part of the show’s theme ‘Speed: Evolution of the Jet Engine’, which celebrates the 75th anniversary of the maiden flight of Britain’s first jet engined aircraft, the show will feature a special exhibition in a display hangar whilst three of the base’s vintage aircraft the Bristol 188, Fairey Delta II and Avro 707 will be on display across the air show site.
