The Sunset Safari by Coach
Need fresh ideas to keep the children entertained over the long summer holidays?
Running from the end of July to the start of September, West Midlands Safari stays open until 9pm at night so you can enjoy over 1,700 animal encounters on a four mile safari as dusk descends on the park.
Stay up late for a memorable cruise to see the world’s most beautiful animal at close quarters in their natural habitat including all the usual crowd-pleasers such as tigers, lions, cheetahs, elephants and giraffes. Not forgetting powerful rhinos, zebras, wild dogs, buffalo and rare spotted deer. What will you spot?
Soak up the unique atmosphere, relax and be entertained by your favourite creatures as the sun goes down on this very special coach break.
As well as the safari, there’s also the chance to visit African Village where you can encounter meerkats, walk with lemurs and see hippos swimming in the lake.
Not forgetting Discovery Trail where you can see waddling penguins, get hands on with creepy crawlies, get close to reptiles and be entertained by theatrical sea lions.
With keeper talks and live feeding sessions, this is the perfect coach break for curious young minds.
Plus, don’t miss the UK’s largest animatronic Dinosaur attraction ‘Land of the Living Dinosaurs’. Go back over 100 million years and see the largest predators to ever roam the earth with real-life movements and sounds. Come face to face with Velociraptors, Triceratops and the notorious T-Rex!
The park’s Adventure Theme Park and Tiny Tots Theme Park are also open later than usual with a variety of rides available. Prepare to be disorientated by Black Fly, get in a head spin on Twister, fall from the sky on Venom and have splashing fun on Wild River Rafting.
There are plenty of gentler rides for little ones too, including Animal Ark, Flying Pandas and Simba Kiddies Train.
At National Holidays our Family Fun packages provide bucket loads of inspiration for days out. Just search our website and you’ll soon be brimming with ideas.
