Not many circuits encapsulate Formula One like Monza.
One of the most famous circuits in the world, it has hosted the Italian Grand Prix every year, bar one, since 1950. Today it is one of only seven tracks still in use from the inaugural championship and remains one of the most prestigious of the season.
What sets this track apart from the rest is not only its illustrious history but its layout with fast straights interrupted by only a few chicanes and high-speed corners, meaning for most of the lap the cars are at full throttle with speeds in excess of 220mph testing drivers to their absolute limit.
It’s hard to disagree with the locals who call the Monza circuit the ‘Pista Magica', the magical track.
Despite the track having undergone a number of safety changes, it is still arguably the fastest in the world and the sport’s undisputed temple of speed due to the fact that to date it has staged the fastest Grand Prix and quickest pole position lap in history, both fittingly achieved in a Ferrari.
Monza is also home to one of the best atmospheres, with the stands awash with a sea of red and deafening noise from the passionate Ferrari fans, who flock to the circuit every year to cheer on their home manufacturer.
With inclusive admission to practice, qualifying and Sunday’s race day, this is the ultimate Formula One experience. Share your passion for motor racing by adding the Italian Grand Prix to your holiday plans for this year. Secure your tickets today!
