Like the film, School of Rock the musical follows the misadventures of super slob and failed rock star Dewey Finn who faced with spiralling debt lands a job as a teacher in a posh school. The problem is that Dewey is not a qualified teacher!
When Dewey finds outs that his prim and proper straight-A students are forced to study classical music he decides to wrip up the syllabus by giving them a lesson in rock and forming a band worthy of top prize in an upcoming Battle of the Bands competition.
