Many films are often described as iconic but when describing Dirty Dancing it perhaps doesn’t do it justice. Almost three decades have passed since the classic tale of Baby and Johnny Castle hit the big screens, but Dirty Dancing continues to wow new audiences at theatres across the UK.

During its two stints in the West End it became the fastest selling and longest running show ever to be staged at the Aldwych Theatre. Two hit UK tours have been equally successful.

The success of the stage show is perhaps the fact that it stays true to the film by replicating key moments perfectly with the clever use of projections and a live band.
