One of the park’s biggest features is the 10 acre Project Polar reserve which provides a unique chance to see four polar bears named Victor, Pixel, Nissan and Nobby in their natural summer Arctic habitat.

Lion Country is home to 13 lions in total, which were rescued from squalid conditions in a Romanian zoo and re-housed at the park in 2010. At the time it was the biggest cat rescue ever to happen in Europe.

The park is well-known for its popular walkthrough areas which enable you to get up close and personal with your favourite animals like never before.

You’d be hopping mad to miss the Wallaby Walkabout which allows you to come face-to-face with wallabies and even touch them, whilst in Lemur Wood you can witness lemurs swinging in the trees and scurrying freely around you.

South America Viva is also a fully immersive experience where you can see all sorts of monkeys climbing on the timber frames around you.

Land of the Tiger provides a chance to see Amur tigers in their natural habitat, whilst in Leopard Heights you can gain breathtaking views of the most endangered carnivore in the world, the Amur leopard, from a newly opened 100ft viewing platform.

After all that fun, your own little monkeys can burn off their energy in the many play areas including Monkey Playhouse, the Zoom Superslide Barn, the Forest Adventure Play Area and the Big Bugs Play Area, before grabbing a souvenir at the Safari Village gift shops.

A wild adventure for the whole family.
