It’s hard to imagine that Donny Osmond has enjoyed 50 years in show business but so young was Donny when he rose to fame with his brothers and family band, The Osmonds that the years have whizzed by!
Back then The Osmonds were one of the first US boybands to break the UK market, and in doing so made lead-singer Donny a teen idol and heartthrob to a generation.
It was the start of a sensational career which has seen Osmond sell more than 100 million records, enjoy three UK No1 hits, score nine UK Top 10s and 13 UK Top 40s; and spend a staggering 333 weeks in the UK charts.
His chart-topping hits “Puppy Love”, “Crazy Horses” and “Love Me For A Reason” remain some of the biggest pop records of all time and continue to be played on the radio.
In recent years Donny has enjoyed continued stage and screen success. In 2007 he was crowned the champion of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ and since then has wowed audiences with his resident show with sister Marie at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas that was voted ‘Best Show in Las Vegas’ in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Following such a glittering career, it’s perhaps fitting that Donny’s UK tour is aptly titled “The Soundtrack Of My Life”, and will take a nostalgic look at Donny's most cherished moments from his time in show business as he revisits his time with The Osmonds as well as his solo career.
If you have never seen Donny perform live you’re in for a real treat, featuring sensational choreography, a live band and spectacular sets. His vocals remain as good as ever and he performs with the same charisma and energy we all fell in love with in the Seventies.
Don’t miss this rare chance to see one of the world’s greatest performers.
