The Glacier Express
We travel through stunning scenery as we take a journey from delightful Davos to pretty Andermatt* on the fabulous Glacier Express – the most famous railway in the world. Sit back and relax as you are transported through untouched mountain landscapes, unspoilt natural beauty, with delightful, flourishing valleys, rolling hills, deep gorges, tunnels, bridges and picturesque streams.
Enjoy sensational views from the panoramic windows of the Bernina Express on a fabulous rail journey from St Moritz to the village of Poschiavo*. Admire the lush valleys and towering mountains as you travel on the highest railway in the Alps, with breathtaking scenery at every turn.
We travel to the lakeside resort of Lucerne, offering a lovely mix of medieval towers, cobbled squares and peaceful promenades. Lake Lucerne is somewhat reminiscent of a fjord landscape, yet remains characterised by a mild lake climate and is the lake with the greatest scenic variety in the country.
We take a drive to the shores of Lake Constance with baroque churches to Benedictine abbeys, meadows and vineyards to beaches and serene views.
