St Peters Port, Guernsey
A memorable day spent travelling aboard the high speed Condor ferry to the beautiful Channel Island of Guernsey. With time to explore St Peters Port, the heart of this pretty island with an array of exclusive boutiques, picturesque sea front and quaint streets. Sailing into St Peters Port it’s easy to see why this harbour town is regarded as one of the prettiest in Europe. Castle Cornet has stood for over 800 years overlooking the town, witness to a turbulent history that is now thankfully enjoying quieter times. Discover a hive of island life with its busy cobbled streets dotted with exclusive boutiques and cafes, historic gardens and the most picturesque seafront making the capital of Guernsey a real gem.
Also a visit to Salisbury, huddled below Wiltshire's chalky plain in the converging valleys of the Avon and Nadder, complete with ancient streets and its famous cathedral.
