After tallying up our data, we can reveal that Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Pt. 2 contains the most magic overall, with an impressive 80 magical creatures and 100 wands appearing throughout the movie.

It seems the magnificent amount of magic was well received, as it also scored the highest Rotten Tomatoes ratings from both critics (96%) and fans (89%).

From the 10 movies we analysed, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban proved to be the least magical movie, with a total of 88 encounters throughout. However, despite this, the Magical Beasts movies received the lowest Rotten Tomatoes ratings overall, with the Crimes of Grindelwald instalment receiving an average of 46%.

When it comes to characters, Voldemort receives the most attention in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix where he’s mentioned 42 times throughout the movie. He steals the limelight from Harry in this instance, as his name is referenced just 26 times.
