Relax in Lake Garda
A day for you to relax and explore the delights of Lake Garda, situated at the foot of the Alps, Lake Garda is the largest Italian lake, surrounded by the Dolomites of Brenta in the north and the gentle slopes of the Morainic hills to the south.
The delights of Venice await on our fantastic excursion as we arrive by water taxi. With its intricate network of canals and wonderful gems including the Rialto Bridge, St Mark’s Square, the Grand Canal and Doge’s Palace, this magical city has many historic treasures to discover along with wonderful shops and cafes to enjoy.
Malcesine and Garda
A wonderful excursion today as we visit the charming town of Malcesine, with winding cobbled alleys leading to the water’s edge and to its thirteenth century castle, rising above the water and town. We continue to Garda town for breathtaking views of the southern reaches of Lake Garda, located in a huge sheltered bay with dramatic hills and mountains behind it, it has quaint narrow streets leading up from the lake and an abundance of shops and cafes.
The stunning city of Venice harbours a wealth of artistic and architectural wonders, hardly changing for 600 years. Although now very much a popular place for tourists, it still retains its romantic charm and appeal.
Think of colourful boats bobbing on blue shimmering waters, pretty towns and villages, ancient castles, vineyards and olive groves and you have the essence of spectacular Lake Garda.
The largest freshwater lake in Italy, located half way between Brescia and Verona and Venice and Milan, was originally formed by glaciers.
